Trials and training info!

Here is a big update on trials, training, and games. You can find all this information and more by clicking on the headers below.

TRIALS
At Attadale Netball Club, all players must attend each of the trials evenings for their age groups in order to be placed in a team. Players will be placed in a team based on their performance at trials, including age, ability, attitude, and playing positions.

Players are expected to be appropriately dressed for the sport, including removing all jewellery, and should bring a drink bottle. Trials for all teams takes place at Troy Park, off Burke Drive, Attadale.

It is compulsory for all players who have registered with the Club to attend all of their age group's trial dates, or otherwise provide adequate reasons for being unable to attend. Failure to attend may impact on the Selection Team's ability to adequately assess a player's skill.  Trial dates are as follows:

TUESDAYS 13th, 20th, 27th FEBRUARY
• 4pm to 5pm: Junior E Grade (born 2007)
• 5pm to 6pm: Junior D Grade (born 2006)
• 6pm to 7pm: Junior C Grade (born 2005)
• 7pm to 8pm: 17/U Grade (born 2001 & 2002)

WEDNESDAYS 14th, 21st, 28th FEBRUARY
• 4pm to 5pm: Set Tier and GO! G Tier (born 2009 & 2010)*
• 5pm to 6pm: GO! F Tier (born 2008)
• 6pm to 7pm: Junior B Grade (born 2004)
• 7pm to 8pm: Junior A Grade (born 2003)
• 7:30pm to 9pm: Seniors (born 2000 or earlier)

* For all Set Tier players (2010), and any GO! G Tier players (2009) who are new to netball, these sessions are fun skills clinics rather than grading sessions (all other GO! G Tier players will trial). These clinics run for first two weeks only (14th & 21st), and introduce our newest netballers to some of the basic skills and rules that are needed to play netball. Parents are encouraged to attend and participate, and any keen prospective coaches are also very welcome!
